(I guess we can continue posting here)
Trying not to sigh at Nightshadow's halfhearted interest, Thunderstar prowled between the two hills on either side of their camp, heading straight to the wellworn path that lead directly to Fishpond. He was a fair fisher himself, though he much perferred mice. He was sure both would be in abundance.

Nightshadow managed to catch a mouse that crossed her path on the way to the pond. She buried it to come back for it later. When they finally reached the lake, she jumped out on a boulder that was about a fox length from the shore and peered into the water. Her paw was poised and ready to splash a fish out of the water at a moment's notice.

"Nice catch" Thunderstar purred as the she-cat buried her prey and resumed their journey. When Nightshadow leapt onto the boulder to catch some fish, Lunarmoon stalked through bush and bramble, his hunting scenses keen and alert.

It seemed like a moon until Nightshadow finally moved. She lashed out her paw and scooped a fish. She sent the glittering creature flopping onto the sandy beach and sat still waiting for another fish to swim by.

His folded ears flickered for a moment, and all movement froze, his thick muscles tensed and waiting. Seconds later a rabbit poked it's head out from a heap of grass, looking curiously around. Slowly, Thunderstar stalked closer. Ready...ready... The rabbit jerked its head around as it saw the danger, but it was already too late. With a swift leap Thunderstar had tackled it and stripped the rabbit of it's like with an easey stroke.

Nightshadow brought another wriggling fish from the water and onto the shore near the first one. She looked down at the water and then got distracted with her thoughts again. She snapped back just as a fish was swimming past her. She quickly lashed out at it and flung it towards the shore. But her distraction caused the fish to fall short. It landed a tail-length away from Nightshadow, back into the water, and darted away.

"Bad luck," Thunderstar's muffled voice sounded as he came back with the rabbit in his jaws. As he dropped the carcass on the ground, he spotted the first two fish on the shore. "Not a bad load you've got there, though. We'll have plenty of food to bring back to the camp."

In the hurry to scopp the fish onto the short nce and fgot away, Nightshadow had lost her balance and fallen in the water. The black and white she-cat surface and sputtered slightly before swimming strongly to shore. She hauled herself onto the shore and shook her coat.

Eyes wided in surprise as the she-cat fell into the water, sending waves and undoubtable scaring all the fish away. "You okay, Nightshadow?" Thunderstar asked, trying to struggle down a purr of laughter in his throught and keeping a straight face, though his gleaming blue eyes betrayed his thoughts.

Nightshadow narrowed her eyes playfully at Thunderstar when she read his eyes. She swatted sand at Thunderstar and sat down. "Yes, just fine," she meowed.

His fixed face melted down into all smiles and good humor as the she-cat plowed a cloud of sand at him. He chortled, his long tail curling pleasureable around his haunches. "You should have seen your face when you plopped into the water," he said teasingly, flicking his tail-tip across her shoulder.

"I nice refreshing swim," Nightshadow meowed and took to licking her fur dry.

Still purring, Thunderstar also thought it a good idea to groom his pelt free of sand. Twisting slightly, he cleansed his side with a rough pink tongue, then saw to his paws and chestfur.
